Honda Celebration of Light 2023: team Australia

Aug. 10, 2023

Originally named the “Symphony of Fire”, the Honda Celebration of Light fireworks festival has come a long way since 1990. Recognized as the longest running off-shore fireworks festival in the world, it has hosted dozens of countries to compete each year in a spectacular fireworks display.

Last year, the festival celebrated its 30th anniversary over three spectacular days and nights, and team Canada (presented by Midnight Sun fireworks) became the official winner with what judges called a “near perfect” performance. This year, teams from Australia, Mexico and the Philippines were to show their pyrotechnic craftsmanship. It was expected that more than 1.3 million people would be attending the firework festival over the three nights of shows.

On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics from Australia presented the immersive fireworks display to the admiring crowd at the Vancouver’s English Bay. Having been hired to design and produce fantastic shows such as the Papua New Guinea National Anniversary celebrations, Qatar National Day, the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, among many others, Australian pyrotechnicians take immense pride in their international reputation for taking major events into the next league, pushing pyrotechnic boundaries with their passion and exceeding audience’s expectations!

We are glad to share the link to this wonderful fireworks display. Please, enjoy the show and stay tuned and super with SuperFireworks Company!
