On the night of June 24-25, 2023, the annual holiday of graduates of Russian secondary schools "Scarlet Sails" was held in St. Petersburg. In addition to being one of the largest open water performances in the world, Scarlet Sails is also one of the largest pyrotechnic shows in the country.

During this unique multimedia performance on the Neva river, the event involved a water area of 1800 by 800 meters. The main components of the multifaceted drawing created during the show were the pyrotechnic and light show. Additional components such as a water performance, fire and fountain walls were also used - and do not forget that all this is completely synchronized with the music!

The most spectacular event of the whole evening was the appearance in the Neva waters of a sailboat with scarlet sails, which are made according to the technology of real sea sails, designed to go out to the open sea. The passage of the brig "Russia" was preceded by a concert on Palace Square in the historic center of the city. About 60,000 graduates from St. Petersburg and about 10,000 graduates from other regions of Russia received invitations to the Scarlet Sails this year.

And of course, on the whitest of St. Petersburg night, the bridges and embankments of the Northern capital of Russia became a luxurious parterre in the open air for hundreds of thousands of spectators.
