Da Nang International Fireworks Festival Is Back

We are glad to share the news of another big fireworks festival returning on scene. The Vietnamese city of Da Nang will resume an international fireworks festival after a three-year hiatus due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. First held in 2008 as a two-day competition, the event became a two-month festival in 2017, helping the city cement its status as a leading tourism destination.

Opening on June 3, 2023, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023 will attract up to 8 fireworks teams, which are England, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland, and the home team Vietnam.

With the main theme “The world without distance” each pyro team will have about 20 minutes to give the audience in the Han River port area a spectacular performance.

Each of the five nights will be organized under its special theme: Love Without Distance, Peace for the World, Equality for Humanity, Unlimited Creativity, and Sustainable Tourism Development.

The opening night of DIFF 2023 is expected to occur on the evening of June 3, with the opening competition between the two teams, Vietnam and Finland. The next nights will see competitions of Canada vs France (on June 10), Australia vs Italy (on June 17), and Poland vs England (on June 24). The finale will take place on July 8 with a matchup between the best two teams after four elimination rounds.
