Best fireworks events for the upcoming weeks to see in Europe

April 17, 2023

Dear readers, SuperFireworks Co., Ltd. team brings to your attention three great opportunities to enjoy the best fireworks in Europe in the next few weeks.

Spanning over seven days from the 24th till the 30th of April, the Malta International Fireworks Festival will offer land and sky fireworks to be enjoyed by the public for the 22nd year running. The public can watch the fireworks from Nadur, Mellieħa, St Paul’s Bay, Naxxar, Manoel Island, Floriana and the Grand Harbour. This year Malta is set to host 700 participants from overseas (among others, there will be guests from the United Kingdom, Poland and Italy), as well as 100 exhibitors for the International Fireworks Symposium. In order to taste the grandeur of the coming event, please enjoy the video of the grand opening of the last year’s festival at Grand Harbour in Valletta!

The Eternal City of Rome celebrates its 2,776th birthday on 21 April 2023. Known as Natale di Roma, the annual birthday celebration is based on the legendary founding of Rome by Romulus in 753 BC. There is an impressive parade of about 2,000 participants, which takes place along the via dei Fori Imperiali with historically accurate costumes, ranging from fierce centurions with armor and bearskins to Vestal Virgin

s and Roman children. Throughout the day there are reenactments of battles and rituals, and the day ends with a light show on the imperial forums and fireworks over the Colosseum.

The words “military coup” and “peaceful” don’t usually go hand in hand, but they do when describing Portugal’s Carnation Revolution. Every year on April 25, Portugal remembers the non-violent rebellion that ended a 50-year long dictatorship and reestablished democracy in the country. Also known as Freedom Day or Liberty Day (Dia da Liberdade), April 25 has become a national holiday that is celebrated across the country and in particular, in Lisbon. In honor of the holiday, most businesses and public buildings close for the day while others, including some museums, remain open. There are many activities such as parades and firework shows that people can enjoy. We hope this year portugese pyrowizards would commence something like they did at Portugal Air Summit 2022, where fireworks were launched from airplanes!

We wish all of you have luck to visit these events; if not, SuperFireworks Company will do our best to provide you with the high-quality videos of the above-mentioned European fireworks displays.

Stay super with SuperFireworks Company!
