The 31st Macau International Fireworks Display Contest: round 1 (teams Australia and Switzerland)

Oct. 16, 2023

Critically acclaimed as one of the best of its kind, the annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest is an event not to be missed! Up till now, this world-class pyrotechnic extravaganza has hosted over 100 international teams from all over the world, so we at SuperFireworks Co., Ltd. couldn’t miss the opportunity to highlight this wonderful event.

The fireworks display contest takes place every year on the Macau Tower Shorefront from mid-September to October. This year, ten countries were going to present ten splendid feasts of fireworks and music on the five evenings of September 11th, 16th, 23rd, and October 1st and 9th. The fireworks could be viewed from various vantage points on the Macau Peninsula and Taipa Island, and each display night offered a mix of delicacies, music, dance performances and games.

On the opening evening of September 11, Australian and Swiss companies showed their pyrotechnic mastery.

The Australian company Cardile International Fireworks presented a fireworks show themed as “Thunder of Down Under”. In symphony with iconic Australian pop, rock, and country hits, the show took spectators on a wonderful journey with the fireworks illustrating native Australian flora, fauna, and landscapes.

Themed as “Icons of Rock”, the fireworks shows presented by the Swiss company La Pirotecnica SAGL projected the story of Rock music through vibrant color, patterns and use of creative design combinations. Each song was choreographed to give viewers an emotional experience of the show.

Stay tuned and stay super with SuperFireworks Company as long as there are 4 more rounds of the 31st Macau International Fireworks Display Contest to come!
