Fireworks Fun Facts #2

April 22, 2022

The SuperFireworks Co., Ltd. team keeps sharing fantastic facts from the world of fireworks and pyrotechnics within our new FFF series!

…The largest chocolate firework was released at the Hechtplatz, Zürich, Switzerland on 31 December 2002. Made by Nestlé, it measured 3 m (9.8 ft) high and 1.5 m (4.9 ft) in diameter. The chocolate firework was lit and it exploded, releasing the 60 kg (132 lb) of Swiss Cailler chocolates. Guinness was on hand to verify the attempt as a record breaker, but we still wonder how they made the fireworks explode without melting all of the chocolate inside. Nestle keeps the secret tight. You can’t even find a picture of the epic event online!

Stay tuned and stay super with SuperFireworks Company!
