The British Musical Fireworks Championship is an annual pyro musical competition of best fireworks teams from all over the UK. The fireworks are fired to the music and the show is choreographed to give visitors some of the most spectacular fireworks to enjoy. The event usually takes three nights and the jury chooses the winner from up to seven teams.
This year the festival was held on September 23 and September 24 in Victoria Park, Southport (the event on 25th September was canceled due to the forecasted wind which left only five teams to compete). The winner of the 2022 British Musical Fireworks Championship was Optimum Fireworks from West Yorkshire.
